1. Where is it?

The races are held at the Goondiwindi Race Course on Racecourse Road.

2. What time does it start?

Gates open at 12 noon and close at 1am.

3. How much does it cost?

Entry to the races is $20. Under 18’s should be accompanied by an adult.

5. How can I get there?

We have arranged a free courtesy bus that goes to and from the Race Track. Check out goondiwinidpicnicraces.com.au for the pick up and drop off points.

There is also limited parking at the race track if you do prefer to drive.

6. Can I buy food there?

There is food available for purchase throughout the day and  you are also welcome to bring a picnic lunch. Why not bring a cheese platter to share with friends!

7. Is it BYO? 

No, you cannot bring any alcohol to this event. There is a bar with drinks available for purchase.

8. Is there a band? 

We have a great band Mossy Rocks to play this year as well as DJ Rhode in the track-side tent.

9. What time is fashions on the field?

Fashions on the field starts at 3pm but you’ll need to fill out a nomination form before then so pop to the tent beside the Race Entrance.

10. Can anyone enter fashions on the field? 

Yes, fashion on the field is open to everyone. This is why we have multiple categories; Best Dressed Couple, Classic Lady (aged 25+), Classic Man (aged 25+), Contemporary Lady (ages 18-25), Young Lad (aged 18-25) and Millinery Award.
