Self- confessed necklace addict, Leisa Chapman launched her business I Love That Necklace after many years of designing and sourcing her own jewellery. As an occupational therapist, wife and mother of three, Leisa will be taking time out of her busy schedule to judge at this years Goondiwindi Picnic Races.
www.ILoveThatNecklace.com.au went online in 2016 when Leisa realised that there are a lot of women in rural and remote areas that want to be able to shop online.
Leisa’s product range has grown to include necklaces, bangles, earrings, clutch bags and market baskets. With a collection that includes original designs and pretty pieces for the everyday as well as more statement special event pieces.
Leisa loves everything about the races; getting dressed up, wearing a special headpiece, watching the fashions on the field, socialising and having a couple of bets.
“I grew up in Toowoomba and went to Fairholme College so I had a lot of boarder friends from Fairholme and Toowoomba Grammar School, I would often spend holidays out in the country areas with friends on their properties. So after now settling in Brisbane, I love the chance to get back out to the Country,” Leisa says.
What is she looking for in a Fashion On The Field winning outfit?
“I love colour and I am quite ‘girlie’ so I like a pretty, feminine look that coordinates colour well,” Leisa admits.
“As a lover of accessories, I will have a particular eye on the choice of shoes, handbag, necklace and earrings.”
