How to Enter on the Day

The 2018 Woods Grain Fashions on the Field will be a nomination process. To enter, simply fill in a nomination form available on the day from the entry gate and bring it with you to the Fashions on the Field judging area no later then 3.00pm.

A team of Fashion on the Field spotters, who will be wearing identifiable Goondiwindi Picnic Races badges, will also wander amongst race goers looking for potential entrants.

 

Judging Criteria

The judges will be looking for the following when selecting the best from each category:

  • Entrants should express style and originality
  • Outfit should be co-ordinated, including accessories, with attention to detail
  • Outfits should reflect current fashion trends
  • Couples whose outfits compliment each other and reflect style and fashion sense
  • Hats and fascinators that enhance an outfit and show imagination and creativity
  • Attire that is appropriate for the racecourse and season
  • High standards of grooming and deportment
